About the Role

The Quality Technician will play an essential role in ensuring that manufacturing processes adhere to the highest quality standards. This position requires a keen eye for detail, an analytical mindset, and a strong commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Document inspection results and track defect trends to identify areas needing improvement.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to analyze quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain and update quality documentation, including quality manuals and procedures.
  • Assist in the development and execution of quality control plans and audits.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall quality performance and efficiency.
  • Train and mentor other staff on quality assurance and quality control processes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment and adhere to all safety protocols.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and practices.
  • Proficient in using measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills for effective problem solving.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
