About the Role

This role involves operating CNC milling machines to produce precision parts, requiring a strong understanding of machining processes and quality control.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision parts.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to determine specifications and machining processes.
  • Conduct quality control checks of finished products to ensure they meet stringent specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machinery.
  • Monitor production processes and adjust machine settings as necessary to maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize workflow and improve processes.
  • Keep work area organized and maintain safety standards within the workspace.
  • Document production processes and maintain records of work performed and materials used.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certificate in machining or CNC operations is preferred.
  • Proficient in the use of CNC machinery and related tools.
  • Strong understanding of machining processes and metalworking principles.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as CAD drawings and blueprints.
  • Basic computer skills for programming and operating CNC machines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.
