About the Role
Join the YMCA Team as a Group Fitness Instructor Volunteer and be the spark that ignites the potential in others. Contribute to the development of healthy communities and positively impact the lives of children and youth.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, engaging group fitness classes following MOSSA training.
- Create a welcoming and motivating environment for members.
- Demonstrate exercises safely and effectively.
- Represent the YMCA as a positive ambassador and role model.
Requirements
- All employees and volunteers are required to provide a current satisfactory Criminal Record and may require a Vulnerable Sector Search.
- Police Record checks are reviewed on an individual basis.
- Current First Aid and CPR (training will be provided if needed).
- Current and acceptable Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening.
