About the Role

This position will support the management and maintenance teams during the seasonal apartment Turnover period and/or for a special project-based need. You will act as a liaison between vendors and staff, ensuring a smooth process and project completion according to ACC policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Accompany vendors on-site as instructed by community management and/or facilities management.
  • Assist in audits and tracking, including key audits, damage walks, and vendor completion lists.
  • Assist in quality checks of completed work to ensure units or project areas are market-ready.
  • Assist in preparation of units/bedspaces for occupancy during the unit Turnover process.
  • Understand and follow the American Campus key policy.
  • Assist with moving, unloading, and storing supplies such as furniture or project supplies.
  • Perform duties and assist in completing daily duties as outlined in the American Campus Basic Operating Standards and Systems (BOSS) program.
  • Assist in keeping property grounds clean, including general curb appeal, trash pick-up and disposal, vacuuming/sweeping/mopping common areas, and maintaining pool and amenity areas.
  • May assist with final walks and final touch-ups, including minor cleaning, minor repairs, and touch-up paint.
  • Participate in routine property or unit inspections.
  • Attend all mandatory employee staff meetings and company safety meetings/webinars.

Requirements

  • Ability to perform housekeeping and cleaning tasks.
  • Ability to use small power/hand tools.
  • Ability to understand and follow MSDS rules for handling and using chemicals.
  • Ability to drive a golf cart.
