About the Role
Uphold company safety and supervise the production process to guarantee all products meet quality expectations. Perform regular product evaluations, record inspection results, and recommend improvements.
Responsibilities
- Read blueprints and specifications.
- Monitor operations to ensure they meet production standards.
- Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process.
- Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced.
- Measure products with calipers, gauges, CMM or micrometers, and all other measuring equipment.
- Accept or reject finished items.
- Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications.
- Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products.
- Report inspection and test data.
- Resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.
- Perform calibration of gauges and maintain calibration records.
- Learn CMM and other measuring equipment programming.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a quality inspector or in a relevant role.
- A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach.
- Familiarity with quality testing machines and systems.
- Experience with calipers, gauges, CMM, and micrometers.
- Thorough knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies.
- Working knowledge of MS Office.
