About the Role

We are seeking an AI Product Owner to join our AI Solutions engineering team. You will serve as the engagement lead for affiliate and FG stakeholders, managing intake, prioritization, and translating business needs into actionable work. Your role is crucial in protecting engineering capacity by ensuring scope discipline, defining success metrics, and guiding the team to build the right solutions responsibly within a regulated financial services environment.

Responsibilities

• Own affiliate and FG stakeholder relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for AI requests, status updates, and decision-making.
• Manage the intake and prioritization process with the Technical Lead, triaging requests, maintaining the pipeline, and making explicit trade-offs.
• Lead discovery and use-case shaping, facilitating sessions to define problems, map workflows, identify constraints, and set measurable success criteria.
• Own the specification "contract", ensuring all use cases entering development have complete, approved specifications including inputs, outputs, acceptance criteria, risks, assumptions, and data access requirements.
• Manage the feedback-to-scope loop through UAT, translating stakeholder feedback into precise spec changes, controlling scope creep, and driving timely sign-offs.
• Maintain portfolio visibility by tracking progress, dependencies, blockers, satisfaction, and pipeline health, providing clear reports to stakeholders and AI leadership.
• Directly manage a future FG Business Analyst, setting priorities, reviewing specifications, and ensuring consistent quality and stakeholder experience.

Requirements

• Product Owner, Product Manager, or Senior Business Analyst experience owning a delivery pipeline from discovery through release.
• Proven ability to work directly with senior stakeholders (portfolio managers, investment leaders, executives), set expectations, drive decisions, and manage scope.
• Exceptional specification writing skills, producing clear, testable requirements and acceptance criteria for engineering.
• Experience in financial services or another regulated environment, with an understanding of risk, controls, privacy, and stakeholder accountability.
• Technical fluency to challenge assumptions, understand architectural implications, and partner effectively with AI technical leads.
• High autonomy and strong judgment, capable of turning ambiguous requests into structured, prioritized work with clear outcomes and constraints.
• Constructive assertiveness and strong written communication skills to protect scope and timelines while maintaining trusted relationships.
