About the Role

Lead the horizontal engineering function and shared control plane to shape a connected, observable, and automated technology ecosystem. You will define architecture, standards, and operating models for SRE practices, release governance, and process orchestration to improve enterprise reliability and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the enterprise control plane architecture for real-time visibility into system health and operational risk.
  • Define and implement SRE and observability standards to enable proactive monitoring and faster incident recovery.
  • Lead release governance and change management frameworks to ensure predictable and compliant deployments.
  • Drive enterprise-wide automation using AI-enabled monitoring and process orchestration to increase efficiency.
  • Improve integration reliability across APIs, event streams, and data pipelines to strengthen SLA adherence.
  • Standardize developer experience through common tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure patterns.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve production health and minimize operational failures.
  • Establish and track performance metrics including SLOs, MTTR, and deployment frequency.

Requirements

  • Proven senior leadership experience in platform engineering, SRE, DevOps, or engineering operations.
  • Track record of building and scaling shared engineering capabilities in complex, federated environments.
  • Deep expertise in at least two areas: SRE/observability, platform engineering, systems integration, release engineering, or process automation.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems architecture, APIs, event-driven design, and data flows.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, containerization, and orchestration platforms.
  • Proficiency with observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, or ELK/OpenSearch.
  • Experience operating within regulated environments and designing audit-ready governance frameworks.
  • Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools like ServiceNow, Jira, Camunda, or Temporal.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with an engineering-led leadership style.
