About the Role
Join one of Canada’s top performing asset managers as a Salesforce Solution Architect within the IS department. As part of our Salesforce Center of Excellence, you will lead the delivery of ongoing business value by bridging strategy and technical execution. Partner closely with business leaders, end users, and delivery teams to uncover unmet needs and design Salesforce solutions that enhance user and client experience. Your expertise in designing solutions for complex asset management workflows and passion for collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions with measurable business impact will be key to success.
Responsibilities
- Lead stakeholder engagement to understand unmet needs and pain points, identifying opportunities for process improvement or new capabilities.
- Act as a trusted advisor, shaping outcomes through enablement and recommendations to improve end-user experience, increase productivity, and drive adoption.
- Lead business-value-focused conversations, translating complex solution concepts into tailored end-user workflows.
- Lead solution design feasibility, defining release scope and sequencing aligned with business priorities and dependencies.
- Own the definition of clear, implementation-ready requirements and acceptance criteria to accelerate development and ensure high-quality delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions support complete end-to-end processes that provide business value and an exceptional end-user experience.
- Own the end-to-end solution design of scalable, secure, and maintainable Salesforce solutions that enable business strategy and a positive end-user experience.
- Apply architectural thinking to minimize rework, technical debt, and downstream delivery risk.
- Lead hands-on solution configuration, proof-of-concepts, and demonstrations to validate design decisions and de-risk delivery.
- Lead solution delivery, guiding implementation and participating in testing with cross-functional teams to ensure consistently high-quality solutions.
- Lead agile execution, collaborating with project team members to overcome roadblocks and foster an environment for optimal performance.
- Lead the follow-through of successful solution delivery, collaborating on the resolution of complex solution or data issues.
- Develop standards and best practices to accelerate future delivery.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and influence across business and technical audiences, translating complex concepts into clear designs and outcomes.
- 8+ years as a Salesforce Solution Architect designing scalable, secure solutions in regulated environments.
- Deep implementation-based understanding of the Salesforce Platform, including configuration, advanced configuration, use of customization, data models, and security models.
- Hands-on Salesforce platform experience delivering cross-cloud solutions across areas such as Financial Services Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Account Engagement, and Third-Party Apps.
- Institutional Asset Management domain experience is an asset.
- Proven track record of continuous learning and leadership.
