About the Role
Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group (CC&LFG) is establishing an AI Enablement Team to accelerate the responsible adoption of AI. The Senior Data Integration Engineer will design, build, and manage the data pipelines, governance controls, and semantic context necessary for enterprise-wide AI and analytics. This role is crucial for optimizing data for autonomous AI systems and laying the foundation for agentic AI in financial services.
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable ETL/ELT processes to integrate diverse data sources.
- Enable real-time and event-driven data flows for autonomous agent decision-making.
- Implement robust controls for data security, privacy, compliance, and bias mitigation.
- Establish observability and audit trails for agentic AI pipelines.
- Enrich datasets with semantic context and metadata for AI applications like LLMs and RAG.
- Build connectors and APIs for agentic AI systems to interact with enterprise data.
- Support workflow orchestration across AI agents and business systems.
- Develop feedback loops and monitoring systems for autonomous AI actions.
- Ensure guardrails (policy enforcement, escalation paths, human-in-the-loop) are integrated into pipelines.
- Document integration processes, orchestration patterns, and governance standards.
- Provide blueprints for AI agent interaction with enterprise data.
- Collaborate with AI Solutions Engineers, governance leads, and business stakeholders.
- Drive alignment between technical infrastructure and business value from agentic AI.
Requirements
- Proven experience building resilient, scalable data pipelines for structured and unstructured datasets.
- Ability to collaborate with engineers, AI product teams, and business leaders to make enterprise data agent-ready.
