About the Role

Responsibilities

• Provide professional salon services including haircuts, color, highlights, waxing, and specialty services.
• Perform administrative tasks such as completing transactions on a computerized register, closing procedures, and light housekeeping.
• Maintain high-quality standards for both stylists and guests.
• Communicate effectively with guests regarding services, needs, and wants.
• Observe guest's hair, including close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Requirements

• Current cosmetology or barber license as required by state/provincial regulations.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to provide exceptional guest service, including consultations and efficient service delivery.
• Ability to stand for sustained periods.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 10 pounds, occasionally up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to perform continuous repetitive movements with fingers, hands, wrists, and arms.
• Ability to perform continuous grasping and reaching, often above shoulder level.
• Ability to be exposed to various chemicals and fragrances.
• Ability to work with proprietary tools and techniques.
