About the Role
As a Strategy & Delivery Adviser, you will support the research team operationally and help shape the strategic direction of research in line with AISI objectives. You will be responsible for the delivery of research projects, working alongside researchers and internal partners to ensure research is efficient and impactful.
Responsibilities
- Lead operational delivery for research projects from idea to output
- Coordinate ethical and legal approvals
- Manage project deliverables and timelines
- Establish partnerships with third parties
- Own high-priority special projects
- Coordinate team objective-setting and research prioritization
- Build impactful partnerships with external researchers
- Draft policy reports, deliver presentations, and brief counterparts
Requirements
- Ability to take ownership and work without close direction
- Strong collaborative skills to build relationships across teams and with external partners
- Effective communication skills adapted to expert and non-expert audiences
- Ability to engage with academic research to coordinate it
- Comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities
- Commitment to reducing risks posed by frontier AI
- Must undergo a criminal record check and obtain baseline personnel security standard (BPSS) clearance
- Strong preference for eligibility for counter-terrorist check (CTC) clearance
