About the Role
The Social Media Intern will support the Social Media team in building strategic partnerships to maximize the House’s social media presence in Japan, reinforce brand equity, and engage local audiences. The role will support day-to-day activities with platforms, agency partners, and various corporate teams and divisions.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Social Media team with day-to-day operational tasks for X and LINE.
- Translate key documents and communications between Japanese and English in writing.
- Ensure coordination of the corporate instance with local divisions, overseeing publishing tools and calendars with attention to detail.
- Track local content consumption and compile best practice examples.
- Provide occasional administrative help with scheduling and room bookings.
- Organize the compilation of regular reporting on social media initiatives.
Requirements
- Demonstrate a clear understanding and interest in major platforms such as X and LINE.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic, team spirit, and willingness to learn.
- Possess excellent communication skills.
- Ability to interpret, prioritize, and deliver actions with sharp attention to detail.
- Ambition to work within a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in the luxury sector is an added benefit.
- Interest in the Fashion, Fragrance & Beauty and Watches & Fine Jewelry industries.
- Native-level Japanese proficiency is required.
- Advance English skills are a plus.
- Ability to work at least three days per week is required.
