About the Role
As a Senior Sustainability Consultant, you will be responsible for customer delivery, including calculating carbon footprints, developing emission reduction plans, and determining decarbonisation pathways. You will ensure customer success by providing actionable evidence using the Unravel Carbon software and contribute to software development, carbon removal project verification, and climate policy.
Responsibilities
- Calculate carbon footprints / accounts of companies
- Develop net-zero roadmaps and emission reduction plans
- Input into ongoing development of footprinting tools and processes
- Support our customers on the topics of net-zero, ESG and TCFD
- Work with Chief Sustainability Officer on carbon removal projects vetting and climate policy positioning
- Take responsibility to independently serve our customers and support future climate associates
- General research support
Requirements
- Working knowledge of the GHG Protocol
- Proficiency with Excel/spreadsheets
- Methodical approach and ability to work independently
- High integrity, care about real climate impact, and ability to guide customers
- Understanding of agile product development
- Analytical and detail-oriented, capable of navigating and combining various datasets
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, flexible to evolving responsibilities and last-minute changes
- Self-starter (proactive and independent) with an ability to prioritize assignments and tasks to meet deadlines
- Comfortable working in a collaborative environment
- Ability to think outside of the box and creatively problem solve
- Excellent English written and oral communication skills
