About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our team and help provide the best food for kindergarten and school children, with a focus on fresh, organic ingredients.
Responsibilities
- Prepare meals according to specified recipes.
- Modify recipes and substitute allergenic ingredients.
- Handle and process (organic) and regional food products correctly.
- Monitor and adhere to quality standards.
- Procure and store food items properly, and receive goods.
- Comply with legal hygiene regulations, especially according to HACCP.
- Guide kitchen assistants, assistant cooks, dishwashers, trainees, and interns.
- Implement all documentation requirements.
- Communicate with suppliers, customers, and employees.
- Portion and serve food.
- Participate in events and catering.
- Attend training sessions.
- Document work.
- Digital time tracking and request absences via the HR information system.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a Cook.
- Training or additional qualification as a Diet Cook is required.
- Further training as a dietetically trained cook (DGE).
- Experience in system gastronomy / community catering.
