About the Role
We are looking for a design systems expert, systems thinker, and Figma power user to shape, scale, and operationalize enterprise-grade design systems within complex environments, with a strong focus on automotive ecosystems, multi-product platforms, and future-ready AI-supported workflows.
Responsibilities
- Drive the creation, evolution, and governance of complex design systems across digital products, platforms, and ecosystems.
- Establish scalable component architectures, token strategies, variables, and documentation structures in Figma, ensuring consistency, maintainability, and implementation readiness.
- Own advanced Figma workflows including libraries, branching, versioning, variables, modes, responsive systems, automation, and multi-team collaboration models.
- Work closely with product, engineering, research, strategy, and design teams to bridge design intent and technical implementation while aligning vision with execution.
- Actively introduce AI-supported and agentic workflows into the design process — leveraging automation, intelligent tooling, and emerging DesignOps practices to improve quality, efficiency, and scalability.
- Contribute to complex automotive ecosystems and understand the challenges of multi-brand, multi-platform, and embedded digital experiences.
- Drive validation and iteration cycles to continuously improve system quality, usability, and product experience.
Requirements
- 4-6+ years of experience in Product Design, UI Design, or Design Systems with a strong specialization in scalable digital systems.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered thinking, interaction design excellence, and proven experience building or evolving enterprise-level design systems.
- Experience within automotive, mobility, embedded systems, or other complex product ecosystems.
- Systems thinking — translating user needs, product goals, and brand principles into coherent and scalable digital experiences.
- Deep expertise in Figma including advanced auto layout, component systems, variables, tokens, responsive design, prototyping, shared libraries, branching, and versioning.
- Understanding of how design systems scale across multiple teams, products, and implementation environments.
- Experience with DesignOps, contribution models, governance structures, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Active use of AI within daily practice and experience with agentic workflows, automation, AI-supported tooling, and design operations approaches to improve system creation, maintenance, and collaboration.
- Strong understanding of visual identity systems — typography, layout, and color — and how to apply brand consistently across digital products.
- Clear and effective communication across stakeholders, workshops, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Proactive, ownership-driven mindset and ability to thrive in complex and fast-moving environments.
