About the Role

Financial Investigator will support the Drug Enforcement Administration Diversion Control Division in analyzing complex financial and business records for federal diversion investigations, prosecutions, and asset forfeiture. The role involves examining information from investigations and alternative sources to perform financial analyses of targeted entities and individuals, and preparing documentation for law enforcement.

Responsibilities

Organize and conduct detailed examinations of information generated during complex financial criminal/civil investigations.
Analyze information available through alternative sources for the purpose of conducting financial analyses of personal/business assets of targeted organizations/individuals.
Utilize information obtained as a result of the financial analysis and prepare documentation for use by law enforcement personnel pursuing civil and criminal matters.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in any field or equivalent (i.e. HS Diploma +4 Years relevant experience or Associate's degree + 2 years of relevant experience)
5 years of criminal investigative experience, with minimum of 2 years of experience in financial investigations
Working knowledge of current financial investigation techniques.
Skilled and capable in oral and written communications
Security clearance required
US Citizenship
