About the Role
This role serves as the primary liaison between customers and the workshop, responsible for road tests, reviewing job cards, and updating customers on repair progress. The technician will handle complex repairs and provide diagnostic advice, aiming for at least 50% productivity and contributing to departmental goals.
Responsibilities
- Act as the liaison between customers and the workshop.
- Perform road tests and review job cards for necessary information.
- Request additional information when required.
- Inform customers about repair progress.
- Complete or advise on more involved and complicated repairs.
- Liaise with prior approval/Ford technical when assistance or pre-diagnosis is needed.
- Ensure jobs are completed within agreed timeframes.
- Maintain a high level of department productivity.
- Replace components, parts, lubricants, and consumables, and record usage.
- Adhere to strict Health and Safety guidelines.
Requirements
- A successful track record in a similar role, ideally within a franchised dealership.
- A full UK driving licence is essential.

Experience Level
- Minimum NVQ level qualification (or equivalent)

Salary/Compensations
- OTE £37,211 – £40,310
