About the Role
As a Project Manager with a focus on TGA, you will act as the client's representative, jointly responsible for the new construction of the entire technical infrastructure of the former Tempelhof Airport, one of Europe's largest listed buildings.
Responsibilities
- Project management for complex new construction and renovation projects in heritage buildings, focusing on technical equipment in and around the building (DIN 276, KG 400, 550).
- Conceptualization of creative solutions for technical equipment within diverse projects, in close coordination with colleagues from Building, Property, and Facility Management.
- Control and monitoring of construction and technical service delivery, particularly within cross-team and cross-departmental project work, across all service stages of ABau (General Directive for the Preparation and Execution of Berlin Construction Projects).
- Coordination and project support for external project managers, general planners, planning offices, and implementation service providers.
- Budget planning, bid and invoice review, and project controlling.
- Potential for future leadership responsibilities.
Requirements
- Successfully completed degree in building services/plant engineering or a comparable qualification, e.g., as a technician.
- Experience in planning and site supervision of technical equipment and in controlling large-scale projects.
- Experience in cross-team and cross-departmental project work involving document-based and virtual collaboration (SharePoint).
- Basic understanding of ERP, CAFM, and asset labeling systems.
- Solution-oriented and strategic mindset, with strong communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations according to VOB, HOAI, and ABau.
- Fluent German language skills, both written and spoken.
