About the Role
As a Principal Software Engineer at TTEC Digital, you will serve as a key member of the leadership team and a technical problem solver. You will work in an innovation group building next-generation AI CX tools, operating with a startup mentality to ship high-impact products for global enterprise clients.
Responsibilities
- Act as the engineering leader's right-hand and key problem solver
- Jump into squads to resolve complex technical blockers by writing code
- Jointly own platform architecture for C1 Platform Foundation
- Develop pattern-setting reference implementations
- Mentor and raise the technical level of the engineering team
- Demonstrate technical influence through shipping and demoing code
Requirements
- 12+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
- Fluency in 7+ programming languages
- Mandatory senior-level proficiency in Go
- Proficiency in Python and TypeScript
- Experience with a native or systems language
- Deep understanding of high-capacity distributed systems and failure physics
- Experience with multiple messaging systems such as NATS, Kafka, Redpanda, or RabbitMQ
- Experience with multiple database types including relational, KV, document, columnar, and graph
- Experience with at least two cloud platforms, with deep experience in GCP preferred
- Strong knowledge of AI technologies including LLMs, SLMs, RAG, knowledge graphs, and agents
- Proven ability to build AI-powered features and utilize AI-assisted development
- Expert-level troubleshooting and debugging skills
