About the Role
AGI is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to lead product marketing and commercial marketing initiatives across our Commercial and International business platforms. This role is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive business growth, strengthen AGI's market position, support product commercialization, and enable sales success across global markets.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain product positioning, messaging, and value propositions across AGI's commercial product portfolio.
- Partner with product management and engineering teams to understand product capabilities, customer applications, and competitive advantages.
- Translate technical product features into customer-focused benefits and business value.
- Develop product marketing plans that support growth objectives and strategic priorities.
- Lead marketing support for new product introductions and portfolio expansion initiatives.
- Coordinate launch plans across sales, product management, engineering, and design.
- Develop launch assets including sales tools, literature, presentations, videos, digital content, and customer communications.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, competitive activity, and emerging industry opportunities.
- Conduct competitive analysis and develop tools that help sales teams effectively position AGI solutions.
- Provide market insights and recommendations to support business planning and product strategy.
- Create and maintain sales enablement materials including product presentations, battle cards, case studies, application guides, technical literature, and customer success stories.
- Support global sales teams through training materials and product communications.
- Partner with sales leadership to identify content and marketing tools needed to accelerate opportunity development.
- Develop integrated marketing campaigns that support strategic growth initiatives.
- Create and oversee development of customer-focused content across digital, print, video, trade media, and event channels.
- Ensure all content aligns with AGI brand standards and business objectives.
- Manage agency and freelance resources when required.
- Support AGI participation in key industry trade shows, conferences, associations, and customer events.
- Develop event marketing strategies, product launch activities, and post-event follow-up plans.
- Coordinate marketing assets and messaging to maximize event ROI.
- Work closely with regional and country marketing representatives to support local market requirements.
- Ensure consistent messaging, positioning, and brand execution across regions.
- Share best practices, campaign insights, and performance results across the organization.
- Monitor campaign effectiveness and marketing performance using established KPIs.
- Track marketing investment and assess return on marketing activities.
- Assist with annual planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Engineering, Agriculture, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive B2B marketing experience.
- Experience marketing industrial, manufacturing, agriculture, material handling, processing, construction, or engineered products.
- Demonstrated success supporting product launches and commercialization initiatives.
- Experience developing product positioning and customer value propositions.
- Strong content creation and business writing capabilities.
- Experience creating sales enablement tools and supporting sales organizations.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working cross-functionally with sales, product management, engineering, and leadership teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to work with technical subject matter experts, translate complex concepts into customer-focused messaging, and develop marketing programs the support revenue growth.
