About the Role
Skello is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its Tech team. This role is central to ensuring the robustness of features, including new AI functionalities. The engineer will work on critical AI features integrated into a high-performance backend.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex features, ensuring scalability and performance.
- Actively participate in the development of the Skello Assistant and intelligent features, with a primary focus on AI.
- Apply rigorous Software Engineering practices to innovative subjects to guarantee the determinism and reliability of production responses.
- Collaborate with Staff Engineers and Architects to optimize infrastructure (costs, latency, monitoring).
- Contribute to the evolution of the tech stack, from maintaining legacy systems to building the future of Skello.
Requirements
- At least 4 to 7 years of experience in Backend development.
- Proven ability to build complex and resilient systems.
- Proficiency in the JavaScript environment, ideally NodeJS & TypeScript.
- Adaptability to work with Ruby on Rails if needed and understand Front-end migration challenges (Vue to React).
- Ability to balance technological innovation with production imperatives (scalability, output quality, costs).
