About the Role
Braze is seeking to expand its market presence in Japan by hiring a new business development professional. This role involves approaching clients, practicing Value Selling, and closing deals. You will collaborate with the BDR team to manage the entire sales process from identifying potential customers to closing contracts. Additionally, you will be responsible for increasing Braze's brand awareness in the Japanese market, creating and managing target company lists, and developing sales strategies based on market trend analysis. Building long-term client relationships and understanding their needs are crucial, as is collaborating with various departments like Marketing, Presales, and Customer Success to lead sales activities as a unified team. You will also track sales progress, analyze performance, and provide reports with strategic adjustments and improvement suggestions.
Responsibilities
- Approach clients and aim to close deals by practicing Value Selling.
- Collaborate with the BDR team to manage the entire sales process from identifying potential customers to closing contracts.
- Increase Braze's brand awareness in the Japanese market.
- Create and manage target company lists.
- Develop sales strategies based on market trend analysis.
- Build long-term client relationships and understand their needs.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Presales, and Customer Success teams.
- Track sales progress and analyze performance.
- Provide reports and suggest strategic adjustments and improvements.
Requirements
- Over 3 years of Value Selling experience in SaaS sales (Japanese or foreign companies are acceptable).
- Planning skills that work backward from sales goals.
- Proven experience in diligently and persistently executing necessary activities to achieve sales targets, with a strong drive for results.
- Experience using CRM systems (must have experience managing sales pipelines using Salesforce.com CRM or other CRM tools).
- Effective communication skills with stakeholders and clients.
- Presentation skills.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new cloud applications and tools.
