About the Role
The IT Assistant provides day-to-day IT support to the Somaliland Area Office, ensuring the effective operation of IT systems, equipment, and network services. The role also supports IT asset management, troubleshooting, and user support in line with Save the Children's IT policies and standards.

Requirements
- Minimum of one year of relevant experience providing IT support in an organizational environment.
- Experience in troubleshooting and maintaining computers, printers, software applications, and other IT equipment.
- Basic knowledge of LAN/WAN infrastructure, including routers, switches, modems, and network troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows-based networks, servers, domain configuration, and antivirus solutions.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Windows operating systems.
- Commitment to Save the Children’s values and safeguarding principles.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Ability to provide user support.
- Ability to train staff on IT systems.
- Ability to promote effective use of technology.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience working with an international NGO is an advantage but not mandatory.

- This position aims to establish a strong, coordinated, and quality-assured MHPSS system across the country office.
