About the Role

The Associate Account Manager is responsible for initiating, developing, and maintaining a high-quality portfolio of hotel products for Expedia's global customer base. You will act as a consultant to hotel partners, utilizing data insights and revenue management tools to maximize their production potential and ensure an optimal traveler experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and sustain strong partnerships through data-driven insights and needs-based consulting services.
  • Optimize partner hotel content, rates, and availability on Expedia Group sites to maximize conversion.
  • Secure additional lodging inventory during high-demand and compression periods.
  • Implement seasonal deals and promotions to support merchandising and marketing efforts.
  • Promote the use of Expedia's suite of tools, including Rev+ and Expedia Partner Central, to hotel partners.
  • Guide and support hotel partners in delivering excellent traveler experiences.
  • Meet performance targets and execute effectively based on KPI metrics.
  • Conduct regular self-learning to improve professional skills.
  • Travel 20-30% of the time based on business needs.

Requirements

  • Native proficiency in Japanese.
  • Business-level proficiency in English.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 0-4+ years of experience in account management, partner/client success, or consultative sales.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a diverse team.
  • Strong analytical skills regarding market trends and competitor analysis.
  • Effective prioritization and multi-tasking capabilities.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Growth mindset with a focus on using feedback for improvement.
