About the Role

The Coordinator provides overall team leadership and ensures the effective delivery of harm reduction and outreach services. This role oversees day-to-day operations, including Case Manager services, and supports clients by facilitating optimal care through a range of assistance and resources. The Coordinator develops and maintains relationships with network partners, represents the organization at system tables, and ensures staff are informed about program operations and documentation requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of site management, including maintenance, security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Promote client independence through coaching, mentoring, and advocacy.
  • Provide direction to front-line staff, including scheduling, training, recruitment support, and performance management.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with service providers through outreach and communication.
  • Manage daily operations, maintain records, oversee petty cash, and ensure proper incident reporting.
  • Contribute to service planning, quality improvement, and program evaluation.
  • Facilitate client meetings and group activities to support well-being.

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in health care, social services, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the mental health sector.
  • Understanding of harm reduction and Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR) principles.
  • Experience supporting individuals living with HIV, 2SLGBTQ+ individuals, BIPOC communities, and those with mental health or addiction challenges.
  • Experience in program development, planning, evaluation, and group facilitation.
  • Experience in conflict resolution and mediation.
  • Computer literacy for documentation and reporting.
  • Satisfactory vulnerable sector check (VSC).
  • Valid Ontario driver’s license is an asset.
