About the Role
Provide online French tutoring sessions to high-school students in Ontario, observing and evaluating skill levels, creating academic plans, and mentoring students.
Responsibilities
- Provide online French tutoring sessions through our online learning video platform to high-school students in Ontario
- Observe and evaluate a student's skill level to determine progress and work towards improvement with the help of our tutoring program
- Work alongside parents/guardians to create a personal academic plan or timeline for the student
- Help students in their area of need such as homework completion, getting ahead in class, learning new concepts, etc.
- Be able to relate to the students and act as a mentor to them
Requirements
- Fluent in English
- Prior tutoring or teaching experience in Ontario is required
- Have access to a computer with a webcam and a stable internet connection
- Be available during some weeknights (past 4 PM) and weekends
- Tutors should be available to work a minimum of 8 hours per week
