About the Role

Seeking a passionate and experienced tutor with a strong background in English to mentor high school students in Ontario. This role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Provide online English tutoring sessions through our online learning video platform to high-school students in Ontario.
• Observe and evaluate a student's skill level to determine progress and work towards improvement.
• Work alongside parents/guardians to create a personal academic plan or timeline for the student.
• Help students with homework completion, getting ahead in class, and learning new concepts.
• Relate to students and act as a mentor.

Requirements

• Fluent in English.
• Currently enrolled in or completed a Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study or a B.Ed.
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience in Ontario is required.
• Good knowledge of the Ontario curriculum.
• Access to a computer with a webcam and a stable internet connection.
• Available during weeknights (past 4 PM) and weekends.
• Ability to tutor other subjects is a bonus.
