About the Role

As a Manufacturing Engineer at MKS, you will partner with the Tech Ops Team to develop and support NPI designs. In this role, you will report to the Manufacturing Engineering manager.

Responsibilities

  • Providing day to day support to assembly operations
  • Develop and Improve Manufacturing process for RF generators and subassemblies
  • Drive Root cause analysis
  • Support Transfer of New Designs to HVM
  • Design fixtures and tooling
  • Create and maintain Work instruction, Process Flows, BOM's and Standard Operating procedures

Requirements

  • 2+ years of manufacturing Engineering experience (school and co-ops count)
  • Develop and use process simulations to model Assembly flows
  • Develop and use process simulations to model Cycle times and throughput optimization
  • Support digital manufacturing initiatives (digital twin concepts, virtual validation)
  • Experience in High-Tech manufacturing such as: Semiconductor or electro-mechanical assemblies
  • Cross Functional Engineering collaboration
  • Digital Factory or Manufacturing simulation
  • Process Validation (PFMEA)
  • Design for Manufacturing experience (DFX)
  • Data driven problem solving
  • Microsoft Excel, Power point, Visual Factory, Oracle working knowledge a plus
