About the Role
Moore SGD Law LLP is seeking a Solicitor to advise clients on a broad range of corporate law issues, collaborating with colleagues across advisory services to deliver high-quality, joined-up advice.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on corporate and business law matters.
- Provide company law and general business law advice.
- Manage group reorganisations, including capital reductions, share buybacks, share exchanges, and reconstructions.
- Offer capital investments and strategic advice to new and developing businesses.
- Draft joint ventures, investment, and shareholders’ agreements.
- Handle mergers and acquisitions of companies and businesses.
- Facilitate Employee Ownership Trusts.
Requirements
- Approximately 3-4 years’ post-qualified experience.
- LPC qualification or equivalent.
- Valid Solicitors Practising Certificate.
- Experience specializing in corporate law.
- Experience working within a partnership environment.
- Strong intellect and creative thinking ability.
- Excellent technical drafting, written communication, and analytical skills.
- Credibility and competence in dealing with difficult situations.
- Ability to influence and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize.
- Team player.
- Shares the firm’s desire to help clients realize their ambitions.
- Experience with Employee Share Options and Employee Ownership Trusts is helpful.
- Experience with Commercial law and commercial agreements is helpful.
