About the Role

Moore SGD Law LLP is seeking a Solicitor to advise clients on a broad range of corporate law issues, collaborating with colleagues across advisory services to deliver high-quality, joined-up advice.

Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on corporate and business law matters.
  • Provide company law and general business law advice.
  • Manage group reorganisations, including capital reductions, share buybacks, share exchanges, and reconstructions.
  • Offer capital investments and strategic advice to new and developing businesses.
  • Draft joint ventures, investment, and shareholders’ agreements.
  • Handle mergers and acquisitions of companies and businesses.
  • Facilitate Employee Ownership Trusts.

Requirements

  • Approximately 3-4 years’ post-qualified experience.
  • LPC qualification or equivalent.
  • Valid Solicitors Practising Certificate.
  • Experience specializing in corporate law.
  • Experience working within a partnership environment.
  • Strong intellect and creative thinking ability.
  • Excellent technical drafting, written communication, and analytical skills.
  • Credibility and competence in dealing with difficult situations.
  • Ability to influence and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize.
  • Team player.
  • Shares the firm’s desire to help clients realize their ambitions.
  • Experience with Employee Share Options and Employee Ownership Trusts is helpful.
  • Experience with Commercial law and commercial agreements is helpful.
