Responsibilities

  • Lead the BI team in developing and managing production reporting and monthly KPI/MBR.
  • Conduct deep-dive business intelligence analysis into operational areas to provide insights on key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop insights and recommendations for strategic discussions.
  • Provide monthly management insights for performance opportunities, including variance analysis.
  • Plan, develop, and approve operational policies, standard operating procedures, and quality management systems for revenue assurance.
  • Inspire and build leaders, fostering an environment of continuous improvement, customer-centric focus, and urgency.
  • Work with departmental owners to implement and ensure controls are in place to support client success, billing, field, and sales teams.
  • Develop and champion issues across the organization by engaging key stakeholders.
  • Oversee the analysis and audits of data to ensure integrity throughout meter data management processes and resolve issues.
  • Present formal communications to all levels of the organization, including monthly business reports and investment requests with full business cases.

Requirements

  • University Degree required; Post-graduate degrees (MBA) or professional accounting designation (CPA) preferred.
  • Additional training in Data Analytics/IT preferred.
  • Industry experience with Utilities, Telecommunications, or other large consumer base businesses in North American jurisdictions (250k+ customers) preferred.
  • 4+ years of related experience and management of high-performing teams.
  • High proficiency in data modeling and analysis using Excel, PowerBI, & SQL.
  • Excellent collaboration skills to build strong working partnerships with stakeholders.
  • Understanding and experience working with statistical revenue and costing information.
  • Strong technical skills to mine large volumes of data.
  • Ability to apply superior data knowledge and discovery skills into building effective analysis.
  • Ability to conduct basic statistical and correlation analysis to identify patterns and trends.
  • Industry or working experience with customer billing environments with large transaction volumes (e.g., Utility or Telecommunications).
  • Attention to detail and quality, strong time management and project/work planning skills.
  • Proven ability to work with and deliver industry-leading best-in-class reporting and analytical solutions.
  • Proven ability to coach, mentor, lead, and inspire teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer interaction skills, including communications, presentation, and conflict resolution.
