About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Operations Executive to join our Financial Operations team. You will be crucial in ensuring accurate and timely financial transaction processing, maintaining platform liquidity, and supporting product operations. This role offers broad exposure to financial operations within a fast-paced, technology-driven environment, contributing directly to Lendable's growth.

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile collections and repayments between the platform and bank transactions daily for two core UK products.
  • Prepare and execute daily bank transfers and other financial transactions with multiple banking partners.
  • Monitor platform liquidity levels and identify funding requirements.
  • Collaborate with Capital Markets, Data Science, and Product teams to improve processes and resolve issues.
  • Maintain auto auction proceeds, analyzing invoices, and allocating costs to investors.
  • Support product maintenance through financial oversight, calculations, and checks.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc projects, analysis, and provide administrative support.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with reconciliations (bank, cash, payments, collections, or similar).
  • Familiarity with executing payments/bank transfers and working with multiple bank accounts.
  • Recent STEM graduate with strong quantitative and problem-solving abilities for large data volumes (alternative to above).
  • Ability to work to daily deadlines in a time-sensitive environment.
  • Proven track record of improving processes and delivering required outcomes.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Capability to work self-sufficiently to identify issues and streamline workflows.
  • Great communication skills for collaboration within the finance team and across the business.
  • Energetic, motivated, and proactive with problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and G-Suite (including Sheets).
