About the Role

As a Commis Chef, you will play a vital role in supporting the culinary team with the daily preparation and production of high-quality dishes across a variety of outlets. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, luxury environment while developing your culinary skills under the guidance of experienced chefs.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes in accordance with Four Seasons standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment.
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations, including HACCP and COSHH protocols.
  • Support senior chefs in mise en place and service during busy meal periods.
  • Ensure consistency and quality in every dish served.
  • Participate in stock rotation and proper storage of ingredients.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a professional kitchen, ideally within a luxury hotel or fine dining environment.
  • A passion for fresh, high-quality ingredients and a desire to learn and grow in the culinary field.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene practices.
  • Food Hygiene Certificate (CIEH Level 2 or equivalent) preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • All applicants must hold the Right to Work in the UK.

Salary/Compensations

  • £36,500 package which includes hotel service charge, and salary
