About the Role

Consulting Associate Directors are responsible for project delivery, oversight, and client relationship management. They lead teams as engagement managers, ensuring timely completion of deliverables and contributing to project scope and design. Gartner's diverse teams combine innovative thinking and technology to help clients adapt and transform, achieving enduring results.

Responsibilities

• Oversee consulting engagements, contributing to budgeting, scoping, and designing project roadmaps.
• Create high-quality project work-products/deliverables such as slide decks, technical or business documents, and quantitative models.
• Build credibility with client management-level staff, set standards for engagement teams, and manage client expectations.
• Develop engagement hypotheses, identify problem-solving techniques, and train others.
• Provide timely, constructive feedback on projects and engage in formal and informal feedback/coaching.
• Leverage knowledge of AI to identify opportunities for its application in client projects.
• Assist in client interviews and workshops.
• Meet utilization and sales targets.
• Participate in hiring new associates.
• Mentor junior associates and guide them in project delivery.
• Lead an ERP Cloud workstream.
• Successfully complete at least one full life cycle ERP Cloud implementation.

Requirements

• MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of extensive experience in ERP Cloud Consulting within Oracle, Workday, or SAP.
• Understanding of finance business capabilities.
• Experience within a well-regarded management consultancy in project delivery.
• Sales experience is a plus.
• Prior experience in a problem-solving capacity such as a workstream lead preferred.
• Experience working with multiple IT or Technology solutions.
• Experience working with State and Local Government clients.
• Consistent track record of leading people and building high-performing teams.
• Ability to inspire and motivate professionals from both technical and non-technical backgrounds.
• Unwavering commitment to team success, with willingness to provide constructive/corrective action.
• Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and creative development of solutions and strategies.
