Maxxit Systems Inc. is seeking an experienced permanent full-time Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management for a metal fabrication manufacturing business. This role ensures the company secures necessary materials, services, and equipment at the best total cost while maintaining quality and operational continuity.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with company growth, margins, and operational goals.
- Lead sourcing and procurement across direct materials, subcontracted services, capital equipment, and indirect spend.
- Establish scalable procurement processes, policies, and controls for a manufacturing environment.
- Drive procurement transformation, including supplier rationalization, strategic sourcing, and process automation.
- Partner with executive leadership to align procurement with financial targets and long-term planning.
Requirements
- Strong strategic sourcing capability.
- Manufacturing procurement experience.
- Commercial negotiation expertise.
- Deep knowledge of metals, fabrication inputs, and industrial supply chain operations.
