About the Role
Exxpress Tire is seeking Delivery Drivers to transport goods safely and timely to customers. Drivers will ensure merchandise accuracy, collect payments, and collaborate with dispatch.
Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading merchandise
- Performing basic truck safety checklists
- Meeting delivery deadlines
- Obtaining proper signatures upon transfer of goods
- Assisting customers in unloading and verifying order accuracy
- Collecting and verifying proper payment for delivered goods
- Communicating with dispatch regularly
- Maintaining a clean driving record
- Maintaining a valid NY Driver's License
- Performing miscellaneous warehouse duties as assigned
- Driving safely and considerately
- Pulling product to fill orders
- Notifying supervisor immediately of license suspension, expiration, or new driving violations
- Ability to work rotating Saturdays
Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- A clean valid NY State Driver’s License
- 3 years of licensed driving experience
- Good customer service skills
- Strong work ethic
- Professional appearance
- Forklift and Picker experience is a plus
