About the Role

BTY is seeking a Proposal Director to lead their Proposals team, focusing on strategic leadership and timely production of proposal submissions.

Responsibilities

• Lead proposal strategy, ensuring timely management and production of BTY's submissions in response to RFQs, RFIs, and RFPs.
• Coordinate proposal responses from initial inquiry to final submission, setting timelines and deliverables, and ensuring milestones are met.
• Collaborate with the Proposal Coordinator and wider MBD team to create proposal narratives and compile key experience data.
• Manage opportunities on the Firm's tender portals, identifying opportunities and engaging relevant stakeholders.
• Support new business presentations and opportunities.
• Identify new areas for improvement in BTY's proposal process.
• Liaise directly with Partners, Regional Leads & Directors to ensure timely delivery of documents.
• Advise other proposal producers on appropriate structure and presentation for consistent client responses.
• Provide mentorship to junior team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in the professional services consulting industry, with an emphasis on proposal production.
• 1+ years of management or leadership experience.
• Experience working within the construction/real estate/infrastructure sector is desirable.
• Strong project coordination and project management skills.
• High degree of tact, diplomacy, and professionalism.
