About the Role

Reporting to the Site Leader and Operations Leader, this role is responsible for the efficient shipping/receiving of packaging and production materials in a fast-paced, just-in-time (JIT) food manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Leads by example and fosters an environment of mutual respect and teamwork among Team Members.
• Conducts pre-shift huddles and provides feedback for Team Members.
• Leads, coaches, mentors, and trains Team Members.
• Oversees the receipt and warehousing of incoming ingredients and packaging materials.
• Manages all material transfers to production.
• Schedules all drivers, trucks, and carriers.
• Ensures inventory accuracy and manages the cycle counting process.
• Assists the planning team with managing inventory levels.
• Ensures Operations Management System (OMS) procedures are followed, including entering inventory into the operating system.
• Ensures all health and safety and food safety principles are followed and adhered to.
• Maintains excellent working relationships and teamwork with internal departments, external customers, and suppliers.
• Updates the team on daily issues and fosters an environment of continuous improvement.
• Performs additional duties as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 1 year of leadership experience.
• Must have a valid forklift operator license (Counter Balance/Raymond Reach) from a recognized training provider.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems.

• $30.65/hour plus $1 premium for night hours and $2 premium for weekend hours.
