About the Role
MG+M The Law Firm is seeking Associate Attorneys with 2+ years of defense litigation experience to join their General Liability or Toxic Tort Litigation practice groups. The firm focuses on complex civil matters and approaches litigation as a unified team to achieve optimal results for clients.
Responsibilities
- Handle local and national accounts throughout the state of California.
- Independently manage a litigation caseload.
- Conduct depositions.
- Prepare witnesses for deposition and trial.
- Review and analyze discovery requests.
- Prepare and respond to discovery requests, pleadings, and motions.
- Trial preparation and support.
- Maintain accurate time records.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2+ years of defense litigation experience.
- Preference for experience in General Liability or Product Liability.
- Preference for experience in Complex Litigation, Toxic Tort Liability, or Environmental Liability.
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
- Must be admitted to practice in the state of California.
- Experience with motion practice and depositions.
- Experience taking lead in plaintiff and expert depositions.
- Capable of independent work.
- Work in an organized and efficient manner.
- Superior research and writing skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Ability to analyze complex matters.
