About the Role
The ServiceNow Solution Architect guides and owns the delivery of ServiceNow implementations by providing mentorship and thought leadership in platform design, integration design, development standards, platform management methods, and technology strategy consulting. You will design, implement, and optimize IT service management solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs and industry best practices, often using platforms like ServiceNow. You will ensure that the new solutions fit into the existing enterprise architecture from the technical, business, user, and other views.
Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining the strategic technical roadmap for various modules in ServiceNow platform
- Advising customers on the drivers for executing organisational change and adopting technologies
- Designing and architecting solutions for various processes, ensuring solutions align within the existing enterprise architecture
- Contributing to the evolution of practices through resource sharing and feedback loops
- Being aware of how the ServiceNow digital solution will scale in the future and how it will be supported whilst performing Risk vs. Value Proposition for third party integrations with ServiceNow
- Mentoring and guiding senior consultants, developers, and project teams, ensuring alignment with best practices and maintaining the technical integrity of the solution
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Information Technology, Engineering, or Sciences or equivalent work experience
- Should have certifications: CSA, CAD, CIS-ITSM
- High-level understanding in scripting and app development, including familiarity with web services, API’s
- Architecting solutions experience in the ServiceNow platform
- ServiceNow scripting and JavaScript experience are required
- Angular JS, Soap, Rest, JSON, Ajax, CSS, SaSS, HTML5, SP Widgets, and XML are all desired
