About the Role

This role involves financial reporting, analysis, and general accounting. You will collaborate with business leaders to achieve financial targets, applying your expertise in numbers and technology.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly financial statements in accordance with IFRS
• Preparation of monthly financial reporting packages for parent company
• Work closely with the global financial reporting team to align the Group accounting manual with new business initiatives
• Preparation of position papers on both new initiatives and existing key transaction streams
• Preparation of monthly journal entries and working papers to apply relevant applicable accounting standards
• Assist with the implementation of new financial systems and softwares
• Coordinate collection of audit documentation for yearly audit
• Other ad hoc projects as required

Requirements

• CPA Designation (Candidates working towards their designation will be considered)
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Extensive background in general accounting, IFRS compliance, and preparing complex financial position papers
• Proven ability to partner with business leaders and translate complex financial concepts for non-finance stakeholders
• Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a track record of identifying and streamlining inefficiencies for better team productivity
• Exceptionally organized and adaptable, with a demonstrated ability to thrive under pressure in fast-paced environments
• Works seamlessly both independently and collaboratively while handling sensitive, confidential information with strict professionalism
