About the Role
As Senior Product Manager at TextUs, you'll own product discovery, shape the roadmap, and author Product Briefs. You will collaborate with a dedicated product team to guide products from problem definition through launch, with a focus on AI-based capabilities and market differentiation.
Responsibilities
- Own product discovery, including customer needs, market signals, and competitive dynamics, to develop roadmap recommendations with business cases and prioritization.
- Present roadmap recommendations to the executive team for approval and regularly communicate the roadmap to internal stakeholders and customers.
- Communicate insights into key product metrics across the organization, connecting product performance to roadmap decisions and business outcomes.
- Own product-level competitive positioning and intelligence, assessing and addressing regulatory and technical constraints.
- Author net-new Product Briefs end-to-end in collaboration with the Product Team, defining problem statements, business rationale, customer evidence, requirements, and MVP.
- Define and champion AI-based features and apply AI-assisted approaches to discovery, analysis, and brief creation.
- Create initial positioning and market angle at brief time, remaining accountable for the product's positioning through every launch.
- Write and produce product-facing materials, including presentations and competitive comparisons, and contribute to enablement and marketing collateral.
- Support Sales and Customer Success with product expertise, answering questions, contributing to enablement, and meeting with customers and prospects.
- Partner with the Product Owner, Product Marketing Manager, and Product Designer throughout the product lifecycle, collaborating with Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, and executive stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience, with significant experience in B2B SaaS.
- Experience in ownership of problem definition and brief or requirements authorship at a level engineering teams could build from with minimal rework.
- Strong authorship skills, able to carry a brief to a near-final state independently.
- A track record of negotiating scope constructively, working effectively in shared-ownership processes, and building strong relationships across functions.
- Experience shipping or defining AI-based product capabilities.
- Proficiency using AI tools in your own product practice.
- Comfortable in a CI/CD environment with frequent releases.
- Ability to work flexibly across role boundaries in a small-company setting.
