About the Role

TrendAI is Trend Micro's enterprise AI security brand, building credibility with CISOs and security leaders through research, thought leadership, and customer proof. As the function scales, TrendAI is establishing a dedicated editorial layer to ensure the best of that work reaches the right audiences across every channel. The Editorial Director owns that connective layer, providing direction, sequencing, and data for distribution pods.

Responsibilities

Lead the editorial engine by chairing the editorial board, synthesizing input, and owning the final call on what gets packaged, prioritized, and scheduled.
Cluster in-flight content into coherent narratives tied to market and leadership themes.
Translate dense source material for the target audience without diluting rigor.
Sequence and time releases across PR, social, influencer, podcast, and executive communications so assets reinforce one another.
Build the feedback loop by routing performance signals back to originating teams.
Partner with the Data & Analytics Lead to ensure editorial decisions are evidence-based.
Own the messaging backbone, operating the content-routing workflow and managing the quote bank and messaging house.
Feed and draw from the executive thought-leadership program as a primary source of approved voice and POV.
Scale the function by running editorial hands-on with a small pod initially, then systematizing it into a repeatable operation.

Requirements

8+ years in editorial, content strategy, or integrated communications, including 2+ leading a cross-functional editorial or content function.
Demonstrated ability to run an editorial calendar across multiple channels and stakeholders and to make prioritization calls that stick.
Strong editorial judgment to make technical or dense material resonate for a senior business audience.
Ability to act as a diplomat and operator, aligning teams that do not report to you and landing a shared function as a service.
Comfortable in a fast-moving, AI-forward environment with high AI fluency and appetite to adopt new tooling quickly.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship, both currently and moving forward.
