About the Role

Regent College London is seeking an experienced and passionate Lecturer in Law to join our growing academic team. If you're dedicated to student success, thrive in a face to face teaching environment, and want to shape the next generation of lawyers, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deliver engaging teaching across a range of Law programmes.
  • Support students both in person and online.
  • Contribute to assessment and quality assurance.
  • Be involved in scholarship and continuous curriculum improvement.
  • Deliver lectures, seminars, and tutorials in line with curriculum standards.
  • Develop and update teaching materials and maintain digital learning platforms.
  • Set, assess, and provide feedback on student assignments and exams.
  • Support students academically and pastorally, including those with learning support needs.
  • Engage with quality assurance processes, contribute to module and programme evaluations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
  • Lead modules and coordinate with associate lecturers where applicable.

Requirements

  • A Master's degree in a relevant Law-related field.
  • Experience teaching in Higher Education, with strong digital teaching capability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of HE quality assurance and validation processes.
  • A flexible, student-focused approach and commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Willingness to work towards HEA Fellowship (if not already held).
  • PhD (or near completion) or equivalent industry experience (Desirable).
  • Research or enterprise activity involvement (Desirable).
  • Teaching qualification (FHEA, SHEA, PGCAP, AHEA) (Desirable).
  • Experience leading modules or academic teams (Desirable).
  • Must be flexible to travel to all our campus locations.
  • Successful applicants will be required to complete pre-employment checks, including a criminal records check, two references, ID and Right to Work verification, and education confirmation.
