Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver engaging teaching across a range of Law programmes.
- Support students both in person and online.
- Contribute to assessment and quality assurance.
- Be involved in scholarship and continuous curriculum improvement.
- Deliver lectures, seminars, and tutorials in line with curriculum standards.
- Develop and update teaching materials and maintain digital learning platforms.
- Set, assess, and provide feedback on student assignments and exams.
- Support students academically and pastorally, including those with learning support needs.
- Engage with quality assurance processes, contribute to module and programme evaluations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Lead modules and coordinate with associate lecturers where applicable.
Requirements
- A Master's degree in a relevant Law-related field.
- Experience teaching in Higher Education, with strong digital teaching capability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of HE quality assurance and validation processes.
- A flexible, student-focused approach and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Willingness to work towards HEA Fellowship (if not already held).
- PhD (or near completion) or equivalent industry experience (Desirable).
- Research or enterprise activity involvement (Desirable).
- Teaching qualification (FHEA, SHEA, PGCAP, AHEA) (Desirable).
- Experience leading modules or academic teams (Desirable).
- Must be flexible to travel to all our campus locations.
- Successful applicants will be required to complete pre-employment checks, including a criminal records check, two references, ID and Right to Work verification, and education confirmation.
