About the Role

As a Merchant Strategy & Operations Associate Manager, you will lead the support experience for merchants, owning the strategy and execution of how they are served on the platform. Your goal is to transform support into a tech-first, scalable, and seamless experience that drives merchant satisfaction, retention, and loyalty.

Responsibilities

• Build the strategy for helping merchants succeed once they’re live on DoorDash by providing fast and seamless solutions when merchants face issues, minimizing operational friction.
• Use data-driven decision-making and sound business judgment to drive go-to-market and execution for new initiatives to help merchants have the best experience on Doordash.
• Work cross-functionally with product, operations, marketing, sales, finance, and analytics teams to land key initiatives.

Requirements

• Completed Bachelor’s degree.
• 4-6 years of experience in consulting, strategy, operations, technology, or related experience.
• Ability to affect change daily and operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
• Ability to think about problems from a first principles approach, take action, dig into details, and try new things to create future solutions.
• Experience working on analytical projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience thriving in a cross-functional environment and leading projects across teams.
• Comfortable leveraging AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, and problem-solving.
• Actively exploring and applying AI in day-to-day work with a beginner’s mindset and curiosity.
