About the Role
YETI is seeking a Store Experience Leader for its Flagship store on South Congress in Austin, TX. This role involves leading a team of brand enthusiasts to provide exceptional customer experiences and foster customer loyalty. The ideal candidate has a customer-first mindset and thrives in fast-paced environments, acting as a community hub for outdoor enthusiasts.
Responsibilities
- Leads execution of store processes, payroll management, scheduling, merchandise flow, inventory control, and visual presentation.
- Drives store sales and profitability through effective team leadership and business acumen.
- Plans and executes projects including visual merchandising, new product launches, and in-store events.
- Mitigates loss by educating associates on policies and partnering with Loss Prevention and Store Operations.
- Provides exceptional customer experiences by identifying customer needs and creating loyal customers.
- Acts as a brand ambassador by executing store events and generating brand awareness.
- Creates a customer-centric environment using the Sales Floor Leader program and YETI’s WILDER customer service model.
- Educates the team on YETI products to drive performance.
- Identifies and attracts top talent to represent the brand.
- Builds trust and team morale during challenging times.
- Coaches and develops team selling skills through timely, specific feedback.
- Creates succession plans and development opportunities for team members.
- Promotes an inclusive and diverse store environment that encourages teamwork.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or at least 5 years of related experience.
- At least 3 years of retail store management experience in a specialty retail environment.
- Experience managing $2M+ in annual store revenue.
- Experience implementing new technology and processes to increase profitability.
- Available to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Ability to bend, lift, open, and move product up to 50 pounds.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Currently authorized to work in the United States full-time without employer sponsorship.
