About the Role

This temporary role supports the clean-up and enhancement of the firm’s experience management database, Foundation, with a focus on Capital Markets and Global Finance matters. The position is crucial for improving data accuracy and consistency, thereby strengthening the firm’s ability to support pitches, client development, and other business development initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Review, update, and organize Capital Markets and Global Finance matters in Foundation.
  • Draft, revise, and standardize matter descriptions using available deal information, attorney input, firm materials, and public sources.
  • Identify and correct incomplete, inconsistent, duplicative, or outdated matter records to improve searchability and reporting.
  • Coordinate with lawyers, Business Development, and Knowledge Management to confirm matter details and ensure consistency.
  • Ensure matters are appropriately categorized, tagged, and attributed for efficient experience identification.
  • Support quality control for lawyer profiles, experience lists, and related submissions.
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in handling sensitive client and matter information.

Requirements

  • Experience working in Foundation or a similar legal experience management or marketing database strongly preferred.
  • Paralegal experience supporting transactional practices, particularly Capital Markets, Banking, or Finance, is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of transactional matter types and the ability to distill deal information into clear, concise, business development-ready descriptions.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of records and work efficiently across multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Strong written communication skills and sound judgment in handling confidential information.
  • Experience working in a law firm or other professional services environment preferred.
  • Prior experience supporting Capital Markets and/or Global Finance lawyers or matters preferred.
  • Familiarity with lawyer profiles, deal databases, pitch materials, and related business development processes preferred.
  • Experience coordinating across Business Development, Knowledge Management, and practice group teams preferred.
