About the Role
The Data Analyst supports the development of dashboards, reports, data visualizations, and analytical products that enable data-driven decision-making across Coast Guard missions.
Responsibilities
- Develop dashboards using Power BI, Qlik, and related tools.
- Create visualizations to communicate analytical findings.
- Perform descriptive and diagnostic analytics.
- Conduct research and data analysis.
- Support reporting, performance management, and business intelligence activities.
- Translate data into actionable insights.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Data Analytics, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- 4 years of relevant experience, or 3 years with a Bachelor's degree.
- CAP Essentials certification preferred.
- Ability to work effectively remotely in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to meet deadlines and produce quality work.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite software including Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to obtain Public Trust prior to hire and maintain during employment is required.
