About the Role
Responsible for coordinating learning logistics, managing learner communication, and supporting the Leadership & Professional Development Manager with session preparation. Applies adult learning principles to assist with updating learning content, leading activities, and facilitating sessions. Connects with others through empathetic communication, compassionate service, and solution-focused partnering.
Responsibilities
- Assists in the execution and maintenance of development solutions.
- Creates, updates, and formats learning content for assigned learner groups.
- Serves as a point of contact for new leaders, guiding them through the leadership development pathway.
- Leads in-person and/or virtual activities for new leaders.
- Assists with logistical items, including scheduling, updating content, preparing materials, and sending post-session support.
- Coordinates learning initiatives setup and distribution using internal and external platforms.
- Partners with the Leadership & Professional Development Manager to coordinate new initiatives.
- Reviews and cross-references learning content for alignment with Professional and Leadership Development pillars.
- Collects and organizes feedback, data, and learning observations to identify development needs.
- Organizes and balances daily responsibilities with tasks related to multiple initiatives.
- Maintains tracking systems and dashboards to monitor learning metrics.
- Identifies opportunities and recommends updates/changes to improve protocols and processes.
- Pursues self-development and professional growth.
- Adheres to all company policies, including OSHA, HIPAA, compliance, and Code of Conduct.
- Ensures regular and dependable attendance.
- Follows the core competencies set forth by the Company.
- Coordinates scheduling and logistics for internal and external learning resources.
- Coordinates newly promoted or externally hired leader follow-ups.
- Participates in team meetings, workgroups, or committees as requested.
- Contributes to team success by performing other supportive duties.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Two (2) or more years of experience in a leadership role.
- Three (3) years of experience in learning and development, enablement specialist, classroom education or training, or in-person facilitator-led learning.
- Experience in the health care industry (preferred).
- Experience hosting virtually-led learning sessions and creating/editing video content (preferred).
Skills
- Understanding of adult learning and instructional principles.
- Ability to partner effectively with leaders and HR to design and deliver learning and development solutions.
- Skill in utilizing instructional design tools (e.g., Articulate 360).
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and Adobe applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to learn new applications and create learning documentation.
- Ability to relate well with all levels and build rapport.
