About the Role

As an Account Director, you will be the key liaison between clients and internal teams, guiding projects with clarity and vision. You will build deep, trusting relationships with senior client stakeholders, serving as a strategic advisor and influencing business and marketing decisions. Your role will oversee projects from start to finish, nurturing a culture of collaboration and ensuring bold ideas thrive. This is a fixed-term position from September 2026 to October 2027.

Responsibilities

  • Understand, analyze, and immerse yourself in client mandates aligned with their business objectives.
  • Efficiently communicate mandate requirements to creative and strategy teams.
  • Identify business opportunities within clients' portfolios and create strategies to realize them.
  • Champion high-quality creative work, ensuring strategic soundness, creative appeal, and alignment with client objectives.
  • Demonstrate a desire to innovate, challenge the status quo, and push project limits.
  • Manage and optimize 360˚ multidisciplinary projects by identifying the right internal and external partners.
  • Act as the financial steward for assigned accounts, managing budgets, forecasts, profitability, resource allocation, and scope.
  • Contribute to clients' profitability.
  • Manage conflicts, provoke discussions, and make difficult decisions.
  • Manage, train, and guide the development of your team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • 8+ years of agency experience.
  • Leadership skills: experienced thought leader capable of organizing, motivating, and improving creative thinking and output.
  • Business savvy: ability to lead accounts with a clear understanding of client business goals and agency operations.
  • Strategic thinker: ability to apply critical and analytical skills to shape creative work and elevate ideas.
  • Growth mindset: ability to leverage relationships to identify business growth opportunities.
  • Entrepreneurial and invested: thrives in environments requiring versatility, enjoys building from the ground up, understands business management, and is willing to engage directly with the team.
  • Relationship builder: skilled in developing and maintaining relationships with internal teams, senior clients, and agency partners.
  • Coach + Mentor: ability to pass on experience through generous and patient mentorship.
  • Cultural player: positive, collaborative, and contagious spirit integral to agency culture.
  • Experience working with US-based clients (nice to have).
