About the Role
The Applied ML team at Stripe aims to reform user interaction with the platform by automating tasks and assisting users with complex processes. This role involves using the latest LLMs and fine-tuning models, with an end-to-end approach from ideation to production deployment.
Responsibilities
- Analyze opportunities and propose ideas for ML applications.
- Train and evaluate ML models.
- Run experiments and deploy ML solutions to production.
- Contribute to and influence ML architecture at Stripe.
- Develop pipelines and automated processes for model training and evaluation.
- Integrate ML models into production systems, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Collaborate with product and strategy partners to implement new features.
- Engage with ML/AI developments and productionize innovative ideas.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience shipping ML systems in production.
- High standards for working with production systems.
- Ownership and drive for projects leading to business impact.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
- 5+ years of experience in full-time software development roles (preferred).
- Experience shipping high-quality LLM integrations to user products (preferred).
- Experience operating in highly ambiguous environments (preferred).
- Knowledge of driving hypotheses from data (preferred).
